A full description of the data processing and uncertainties is given in Lawrence et al. (2018).
The data consists of Dual-altimeter Snow Thickness (DuST), gridded on a 1.5° longitude x 0.5° latitude grid and stored as .txt files with columns: longitude, latitude, snow depth (m).
For the CryoSat-2 vs. AltiKa DuST product, snow depth is monthly averaged and the month is given in the file name.
For the ICESat vs. Envisat DuST product, snow depth is averaged per ICESat laser period, and the corresponding dates are given in the file names.
Note there is no data above 81.5° North due the upper latitude of AltiKa / Envisat.
Data is packaged as a single compressed tar file containing the following files:
