To update your personal anaconda packages:
cd $CPOM_SOFTWARE_DIR; git pull
conda env update -f $CPOM_SOFTWARE_DIR/cpom.yml

28-Jul-21:You can now store (or ask to have stored for you) miscellaneous CPOM software (eg RA,MSc,Phd or project software - complete or incomplete) in $CPOM_SOFTWARE_DIR/software_archive/landice,seaice,common/your_package_name/

01-Jul-21:Latest CPOM area plotting requires an essential Anaconda package update to use the latest version of Cartopy (0.19). To update your personal anaconda packages:

30-Jun-21:New Greenland map background from Sentinel-1 Sigma0 Mosaic available for area plots. When plotting, set Area.background_image='grn_s1_mosaic'

02-Jun-21:New CPOM/ESA CCI Antarctic ice sheet portal provides 5km grids of dh/dt from single and multi-mission altimetry. All processed using the CPOM software SEC chain.

14-May-21:New tool: plot_netcdf.py. This is a general plotting program which allows you to plot any NetCDF file (or files) and variable using the CPOM cryosphere areas.

23-Apr-21:New CryoTEMPO portal provides QCV results for new CryoSat thematic products for Land Ice, Sea Ice, Coastal Oceans, Inland Waters. Portal plots and most land ice L2 processing uses CPOM software.
