Cumulative dH from Multi-mission Radar Altimetry since 1995
This animation shows the cumulative change in surface height (dH) of the grounded Antarctic Ice Sheet within each 5 km grid cell, measured since the start of the multi-mission radar altimetry record (ERS-2, Envisat, CryoSat-2) in 1995. Each frame shows a single cumulative dH product and the animation timeline is linear in time. Use the controls to play or scrub through the record, switch between dH, its uncertainty and the static surface type and glaciological basin fields, or toggle a hill-shaded backdrop for additional context.
